Some companies are happy with only a reactive maintenance contract because it keeps your costs down because you wait until its broken before spending any money on fixing it, whilst others prefer a PPM contract alongside the reactive so they have the unexpected covered too.
The ‘run until it fails’ approach means you only spend money on your properties and equipment when it’s absolutely necessary and the ‘prevention is better than cure’ approach means that you are likely to have longevity because they are being regularly maintained.
